Southern Electric Winter Gas Credit, but is it mine?

I've recently changed over to e-on, who I was with before I moved, and then the other day I received a letter from Southern Electric, containing a voucher for £12 credit to put on my meter. I'm not entirely sure if it's because they are the gas suppliers all round, or if I've not been taken off their list??
The meter is still a 'Quantum' meter, so that's not changed, but I'd like to take advantage before they change over to a different meter, thus saving me cash. They aren't open until Monday now.
I know this is probably area specific, but does anyone have the foggiest idea about this? I don't want to have to trudge into town, only to find I'm not entitled. It's cold out there!

What does your letter say?
Letters others have received have implied that the £12 credit is for customers of SSE/Ebico. If you are an E.On customer, then I suspect the SSE credit will not load onto an E.On card/key.

Perhaps give SSE a call and they might offer you the £12 as a cheque if you've only recently left them."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Ah, it sounds like I should be alright then, but I'll double check.
I'm not used to card meters and it's cost me twice as much as it did before I moved so any cash coming my way will be welcome!
I'm getting the new meter on Wednesday, weather permitting, so wanted to take advantage before it's too late!
The letter just says I am entitled to £12 credit to charge to my gas meter, including a barcode. I only moved from round the corner, so thought I was still with British Gas...I'll call up Monday before I go out.
Cheers for the link!0
