How to tell which generation an ipod is?

Hi, I have an unwanted ipod classic which I am looking to sell which is still sealed in the box. I was thinking of selling it on ebay but I don't know which generation it is and I'm presuming any buyer would want to know this info. Is there anyway of telling from the box, I want to sell as sealed so don't want to open the box for any clues. The sticker on the box says ipod 80gb white and has the serial no and part no only. Can anyone help? Thanks.
