Nintendo R4i card thingies

Options
Hi there, I'm interested in getting one on the R4i cards for the kids Nintendo DSi, I've seen a 2gb one on the internet for £20 which is a microcard with an adaptor type thingy? Are they pretty easy to use? I've been given a website to download games from but to be honest I'm not really sure how to do it? does anyone have any advice or any simple how-t type websites that might help? Apologies if this is in the wrong place or not allowed on here!

Sorry - this subject is not allowed on the Forum, as what you are looking to do is deliberate Software Piracy.

explanations of how to use such cards can be found there. There are however no links through that site to pirated software.

What you're attempting to do is to deliberately steal games from hard working studios which design them, suppliers who rely on this to keep their workforce in jobs and staff who sell games in stores. Personally i'd be happier to see pirates chucked into a cell and left to rot as they're essentially assaulting thousands of people with every one of these cards they buy and "games" they download.

Realistically, the OP was talking about downloading games for his kids. Kids want the latet games like their friends, not Homebrew.

And as they have a DSi, they can already play music and browse the internet, so those reasons are not valid either.

Maybe the OP did not realise that what he was asking about is illegal, so let us give him the benefit of the doubt here.

Didn't we have the same thread the other day?

Why not just say to the OP that anything related to piracy cannot be discussed, but here's the link to some homebrew stuff? Don't start accusing them of something you do not know to be true.

If I asked where to buy an axe from on the DIY forum, do you think people would start telling me that going on a murderous rampage was illegal?

Yeah unfortunately the R4 cards are illegal to sell now, but you can still pick them up from places. However, using them and owning one ISN'T illegal. Downloading DSi games to stick on it that are copyrighted are though. However, you can use the R4 cards for perfectly legal open source software. They are also useful for storing all your games that you own, on one card.

And to Bluenoseam. My heart bleeds. If you saw the business practices some of some of these studios then maybe you'd think differently.

Sony with their illegal Rootkit, EA working their staff to the bone with their sweatshop practices. All the studios are like this, EA just being big was the one targeted and lost the law suite against them. And ordered to pay $14.9 million in unpaid overtime.
