Plinth Lights Not Working

My plinth lights have stopped working. All the wiring seems sound so it's a bit of a mystery. I presume that they must be faulty and have to be replaced but just wondered if one bulb blows will that mean they all go out as it breaks the loop?
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks in advance.

They are normally attached to a transformer. Make sure you have power to the tranny . If there is power there my guess would be that it has blown and need replacing. If one went the rest should still work.0

Thanks Steve. I tested the supply and all is fine so I guess the transformer is knackered, not good after only a year! Chances are I'll have to replace the lot unless plinth lights accept a standard plug fitting....
Thanks again0 -
How many lights and what wattage each? Changing the tranny is easy and cheap, a 20-60W tranny (drives 1-3 20W 12V lights) is under a fiver!!
Lot of other sizes/ratings (to suit your installation) here
They are also available at the DIY "sheds" (B&Q etc.)0 -
Have you actually found the transformer. There is no reason whatever to replace everything if the transformer is faulty. Even if the lights are hard wired to the transformer, it will be the low voltage side of things. So the wire can be cut and the transformer replaced quite easily and safely.MartialArtMan wrote: »Thanks Steve.
