Hi, i've downloaded hijack this as recommended in another post & now i don't know what action to take with the log its given me!!

I can see you have Malwarebytes , if you have just done a scan then please post the log file , otherwise update it , quick scan and post the log

the computer generally slow, sometimes i cant open documents that i receive via email. malware updated a few mins ago. will do a quick scan now for you & post it.

while this was running 3 x trojan virus warnings came up via avast which i 'moved to chest' as suggested. this always seems odd to me as it doesn't seem to be fixing/removing them???

When it moves anything to the chest. it LOCKS them so they cant do anymore harm. If you so desire you can goto the chest and completely remove them

It seems strange to me that each time we use the computer it brings up several trojan viruses?? In the 5 yrs i've had a home computer i've never had as many as i seem to have had in the past 2 or 3 months!

Id recommend running a FULL scan with malwarebytes

Then ~
Please run COMBOFIX

Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be)

If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
