Just wondering, my feedback is now at 92.6% so;
Will this put buyers off?
What is the best course of action?
if people pay via paypal thier money is never really at risk i guess...
Thanks

If that is one neg all is not necessarily lost, it depends what the neg is for and how it is worded.
A ranty neg from a buyer with a habit of leaving poor feedback wouldn't worry me much at all, however a neg for refusing to sell, or refusing paypal or trying to add more to end price will probably stop your sales to all but the most naive buyers. Stars are important as well so keep an eye on your expanded seller dashboard so a generally poor business servicee with lots of bad stars for say postage costs will kill your business quicker than a single neg.
Yes your rating will improve for every positive yo receive, so get some stuff listed and get the positives rolling in and the neg will soon become irrelevant.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes it can go to 100% as it only takes into account the last 12 months. There is a chance that 92.6% will put people off (it would me). If I have a selection of sellers with similar items I will do deeper research on the ones with Higher feedback normally over 98%. I would only normally look at someone with feedback like that if they were the only one selling what I wanted (or I'm just looking for a cheap bargain)
I have bought from people with that low feedback but a lot of buyers look at the initial feedback % they dont research the buyers. So youll probably get lower prices untill your feedback increases If I was you I would be considering opening another selling account or converting your buying account (if you have one)0 -
Thanks, my buyer account only has feedback of 34 and no sales history so no stars
my seller ratings are 4.8, 4.6, 4.4 & 4.5
In that case I think I would follow Bob's advice and change to using your buyer account as the selling one now, but change your business model. Stars going below 4.6 start to look worrying, 4.4 and I would be seriously concerned.
Get onto your expanded seller dashboard , get some reports, see where your poor stars come from and sort it out and start selling with a new business model .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
