Quick Egg Cashback Question

Hi all,
If you buy an item for example at £90, then decide to take it back to the shop, do you still earn cashback on the transaction?
Does cashback count on cash withdrawals, or is cashback only earned on
purchases?
Thanks

In my opinion if you purchase an item and then return it you would NOT keep the cashback allowance on that transaction in answer to the 2nd part of your question you will only get cash back on purchases.Cashback earned since joining MSE:-Greasy Palms £372.83,Topcashback £57.15, R-Points 735 points, Cashback kings £131.28,My Shopping Rewards£37.30, Reward Circle 540 Points, Quidco £163.31:TPlay To Win!0

According to the Egg Money T&C's...13.3 If...you are given a refund for a Purchase on which we paid a Cash Back...we can deduct the Cash Back we gave you...on the refunded Purchase.0

Thanks all - Egg T&C's make it clear - I guess that deduction of cashback would happen at the end of the year when they are working the total cashback out.
Thanks
