ValueTyres Accident Aftercare?

Has anyone signed up for this company I seem to be very sceptical they claim they can give you free legal advice and answer legal questions as well as provide a full vehicle recovery anywhere in the UK and even give you a replacement car like for like for free?? There is 1 testimonial on the website but I am not convinced.

At first look it appeared to be a No Win No Fee type

[*]If the accident isn't your fault, we're able to recover all our costs from the at-fault party's insurer
[*]If the at-fault party is not insured, it makes absolutely no difference at all because we can still recover all our costs from the Motor Insurance Bureau if the at-fault party has been identified
      but then it goes on=
If the accident is your fault and you need your vehicle recovered from the scene - which means we can't recover our costs from anyone else - then we simply cover those costs ourselves and never pass them on to you.

So either way you do not pay ! Interesting to hear what others think:confused:
What is the old saying - If it looks too good to be true then it normally is;)

Not sure how this works. They must make enough money from 'not your fault claims' from the insurer.

Just had another look through their site, on the face of it I cannot see any down side. So I clicked on JOIN.

Fairly straightforward; basically they only ask for Name, Address, Phone numbers and email address.

Now with most FREE OFFERS they usually ask for credit/debit card details so they can bill you at the end of the free period. NO WHERE does it ask for payment.

They then give you an option Click on button to have it snail mailed or second button to print it off there and then.

In for a penny (so to speak) hit the second button (if you have a pop up blocker you need to click to accept) and there was the info for printing. Instant cover!

Whilst looking at this, email arrived with a pdf copy.

Dare say only time will tell and hopefully will not have to use it so I may never know;)

They sound like another one of those Credit Agreement/Accident Managament companies, or ambulance chasers as they are increasingly being called by the insurance industry. Be aware as a claimant you are legally obliged to mitigate your losses so when companies like this put in excessive claims to the third-party insurer and they refuse to pay you may responsible for picking up the outstanding charges yourself.

Seems pointless if you have fully comp insurance as your insurers will cover these costs.

If you are a third party person then you are basically paying £29.95 for recovery if its your fault.

I would stress my reading is if the accident is your fault they will cover the recovery cost. not the full repair/hire costs etc
