How to close Citibank Flexible Saver account

Hi, I'm very new to managing bank accounts so sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. I've opened a Citibank Flexible Saver account almost a year ago, and since it is reaching the end of its extra introductory interest rate I'm planning to close the account now. How do I go about this?
If I'm not wrong, I'm supposed to inform them by writing? If so, what is the address to write to and should I cut the card (for activation I think) and send it back? Do I have to call them beforehand?
Thanks very much in advance for any help!

Just out of interest, when closing a Flexible Saver account, how long does it take them to transfer the money into a nominated account?
Also, is any notice period required?
Thanks0 -
I'd have thought logging in to the account and sending them a secure message would be the simplest way to close it.Stompa0

Managed to sort it out today - it took a few phone calls though, but all of the staff were helpful.0
