Hi,
Going through my bank statement and I have a direct debit/Standing Order (what's the difference?) of £68 that goes out every month but have no idea what the heck it is for!
I was going to go into the bank to ask them but snowed in at the moment and thought I can ask you guys to see if you can shed any light on this?
I am at HSBC and this standing order has been going out for some time it seems every month. It is:
Payee:
REPAYMENT PRO HSBC
Last payment date:
06 Jan 2010
Last payment amount:
£68.31
Any ideas guys?
Thanks,
lara400

Don't know! But the last person that asked had it listed just under a HSBC life policy premium ....... so some sort of Insurance?

ahhhh.......thanks a lot Mikeyorks! That might make sense actually, I had a HSBC mortgage years ago and changed over to Halifax...think I took out a life policy premium with HSBC when I took out the mortgage so that might explain it.
Hopefully I will find out this coming week when I pop along into the bank and ask them about it. Maybe even get money back since I cancelled the mortgage....probably not to be honest as they might turn around and say I should have cancelled it myself!
Thanks,
