How do I enable wireless

Hi, I have just received a noew pc, a Zoostorm E3200. I have connected upt the internet with an ethernet cable, but when I try to connect wireless, it says wireless is not enabled.
Do I now have to buy a wireless adapter, or is there somehwere I can enable it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

  • does it have a wireless card installed?

is it a USB wireless card or is there a little aerial sticking out the back?

The laptop just needs the wireless switching on.

On your keyboard, on one of the function keys there will be a wee symbol that looks like a radar tower. You need to press this. Or on some laptops it's a slide switch along the outside of the case, usually with a light near it.
  • It's a desktop. I've managed to sort the laptop, but as it is a new desktop, thought it would be already set up for wirless. could this not be the case?

I see it is a desktop machine if I understand correctly.
May not have a wireless card at all.

Do you need it to be wireless?

  • Yes, as it is too far away from the broadband connection, so will have to be set up. Does that mean I need to buy something to connect wirelessly?
  • i cant all those people ASSUMED it was a laptop..

quick google, and its a desktop with no wireless as standard.

you can get wireless cards cheap enough these and they are doddle to fit.

its that or get a network cable..
