Reading through these posts, I cannot believe the sheer GREED of so many people, in trying to grab as many phones as they can, and in so doing - TOUGH! on those who might be prevented from buying just one! SHAME on you!

    Surely this
is not what this website is all about! :(
Oh dont be wet. Fair play to people who have bought 7, 70 or 700 phones. You have no idea why people may want to or need to take advantage of offers.

It never ceases to amaze me posts like this - they always seem to be towards the end of an offer though when people have missed the boat!!!

I'm guessing you must be one of them!!! And yes I do have a very good idea why ... I reiterate - they are just greedy - and selfish!!
It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that some genuine purchasers who may want just one phone, and would have liked to take advantage of this offer, will be unable to do so because of the sheer avarice of some people. You always get the few who spoil it for the many. And I hope the guilty ones don't get the thousands of points they are expecting!!!

Oh and for the record - I have not 'missed the boat' - I neither want nor need a phone (I am perfectly happy with my Nokia). I merely clicked on the link in Martin's email out of interest ... as I often do!

Not at all. But i think your post may encourage me to do so!!! :rotfl:

Seriously. What does it matter - the offer ends soon, the phones are still available to buy. Anyone can still get the points and either use the phone, sell them on Ebay, build a bridge with them.........

    Awwww poor puppy!!

If you want a phone then i have one you can buy! lol. As for preventing people buying one, i dont see how this can be the case, everytime ive been in to Tescos they have always been in stock.

Have you never been shopping and thought 'Oh thats a good deal, i will get afew of those?' or do you just grab one and say 'id better just have one and leave all the others on the shelf for the unfortunate people who havnt heard or seen this deal?'

Im totally thinking you missed the boat here and jealousy is creeping in.

What I find strange is that after all the effort he must have put in, getting friends and family to buy on his behalf etc, he wants to blow the points on a £2,000 watch!

Surely there must be something better to spend the points on than that?!

    No offence intended :)

If you could buy a quality watch worth £2000 for peanuts, wouldnt you do it?

Your points will be converted to £698.50 in vouchers which will be sent to you in your February Clubcard statement.

Tesco are always boasting about there profits, and for each of the phones ive bought ive contributed to this, i dont really see what some peoples problem is....well apart from jealousy ofcourse, its a loophole, easy money, if more people had some 'get up and go' then they'd do exactly the same as i have.

I don't personally have a problem with someone buying more than they are supposed to but you are being antagonistic. It's not jealousy and it's not because people are too lazy.

It's either they can't afford to, or they dont want to risk it. You must accept there is a chance you may have trouble with the points.

Also it's not about if there are enough phones on the shelf, it's about how future offers will change due to people abusing them. People buying 9 phones are less likely to get their points honoured because you have bought 70.

Lastly people have different views of what is morally right and wrong to do.
