Hi.
So many places charge so many different prices! Cheapest I saw was at:
http://www.discountdomainsuk.com
£10 for 2 Years! What you think?
Cheaper the better though. I found that International sites offer UK Domains, and so I was wondering if I could use exchange rates to my advantage :P!
Where is the cheapest? And does it honestly matter who you go with at the end of the day for your domain?
:S
Thanks :P
Matt.

i don't think it does matter as long as it's a reputable retailer and one where you are the owner of the domain anem and cnan transfer it (pref for free) to another host.
Godaddy.com is HUGE! No1 to be prevcise and I've ordered quite a few from them recently. I paid using Paypal to be certain i would get charged a fee by my bank for USD.
Also godaddy offer something they "Domain By Proxy" which means your name and address details are kept private whenever one does a whois. It is more expensive but you can get it for free on all your domains for orders of £$70. They always have loads of offers.0 -
So you suggest I pay by Paypal (That was my plan anyway)?
And I WONT get a fee then, since it's on paypal to cover the conversion?0 -
Even cheaper is http://www.netfirms.com/ at $4.95 a year (£2.72 a year) but I dind't use them as they didn't offer a "domain by proxy" type feature to hid my details.0

Yes - my bank didnt charge me even though the money went stright from a bank account to Paypal. Credit card should also be fine.
Don't risk paying by a dbeit card (that has a Visa \Mastercard logo), I know when i recently paid by Halifax Debit Card I was charged £1.500 -
Sorry. I'm looking for .CO.UK domains!!
Thanks for finding me those though - £2.72 a year is a bargain!0 -
aah sos! (godaddy.com charge $9.99 for 2years UK domain name!) that probably doesn't incldue the ICANN fee of x pence.0
-
Hmm... All I can see is the $9.99 per year, not 2 years.
Any Links?

yep, it's in the right hand grey column

Got to Checkout.
$9.99 per year - *bump*
Have to pay for 2 years minimum, so it makes it nearly $20. Can't buy that at the moment!! haha
Where else I wonder?0
