Tap Leaking after pipes froze

Got up this morning to find water pipes had frozen. The only water I had was from the cold tap in the kitchen (Combi boiler so no tank)
I've hopefully fixed the problem with the pipes -
warmed up un-heated 'washroom'; repaired compression joint which split; left radiator on all night in kitchen with door to washroom left open. hopefully it should keep the room warm enough to prevent a repeat.
Flooded carpet to be dealt with later.
When I turned the water back on I discovered the hot kitchen mixer tap was dripping.
The tap's less than a year old, I had it fitted last Spring, so I guessing it's something to do with the freezing/defrosting of the water that has caused it.
Any advice on likely causes, remedies & where to go for any parts needed.
I've tried phoning the manufacturers helpline, but number is no longer available, and I've read that B&Q don't keep spares.
Thanks

New tap needed if you cant get the spare ceramic cartridge required.
That is, of course, if the drip is coming from the tap where the water normally comes out.Not Again0 -
OP, according to that website there's a two year warranty on that tap.
I would take the tap back to B&Q and ask them why it has suddenly started leaking/dripping.0 -
Thanks
Normally I'd be straight back to B&Q but with the state of the roads I was hoping there might be a 'quick fix' as I don't fancy driving there at the moment0 -
I hate to say it but a lot of taps at b&q are cheap chinese imports and not worth the money they charge. But on the plus side they will hopefully take it back.0

I've searched for their (manufacturer/importer) non existant 'customer helpline'.
Several entries all give same address
Plumbing Imports (u K) Ltd. Dalton Airfield Dalton Thirsk North Yorkshire YO7 3HE Tel: 01845578089
so these probably are.
Weather permitting (and me being able to remove the tap) I'll take it back tomorrow and get another one.0
