Any hotels overlooking Eiffel Tower?

Would love a romantic getaway to Paris and it would be perfect to see the Eiffel Tower from our hotel. If anyone can recommend any, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Don't want to appear facetious but it would have to be a bit on the tall side.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
  • I am sure there is one with Blue in the title which was built especially to view the tower from the rooms? I am sure Paris Tourist info will give you info if you email them even in English!

I must say its a perfect view on a lovely summer evening and don't forget to do the Seine River Cruise too!!!

We were meant to be going to Paris last year, but unfortunately his wages took a nose dive and we decided to leave it, but one of the hotel's we had chosen for our shortlist was Mercure Tour Eiffel, but you can get ones a tad nearer, depends on your budget.
    Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

    30lb lost of 30lb by June 2012 :j:j:j (80lb overall goal)

  • Please be careful! The Eiffel Tower is not in the best of tourist locations. And, you will be able to see it from quite a way away, anyway!!

For a view of Paris, consider going to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. No queuing and cheaper too.

You might get more answers if you put this in the Overseas holidays section - this is for UK queries.
