Too much money refunded back on to credit card

I had my credit card fraudulently used, and the money was refunded back onto my credit card, but too much was refunded back, I have told the bank about this on 3 different occasions, but they still haven’t removed the overpayment, this was 9 months ago. How long does it have to stay there before it becomes mine? If anyone has had any experience like this before some advice would be great.
Thanks

6 years before they can't claim it back. Probably worth writing to them instead

This happened to me last May. Card fraudulently used and the transactions refunded. Then the next months statement the refunds were duplicated. 2 lengthy phone calls and 3 statements later covering a period of 4 months still the duplicate refunds had not been dealt with. Then I sent a letter with a photocopy of statement with the duplicate refunds highlighted. This worked.0
