    cheers for the advice. apart from that very negative list lol. guess i just wanted to get a kick start in the whole property ladder thing. it'd take a rediculous time for me to be able to even buy a flat and chances are i'd just be renting which seems a waste of money. i wouldn't tell my mates whos property it was, and if i did it wouldn't be on my terms so we'd have to get 12 month ontract.

    i think my parents are pretty settled, and i've got a much younger brother, so they aren't moving for a while

    The advice you have been given to get the best degree you can is the best advice you will ever hear.

    The idea of trying to earn your parents money through the property market is not worth wasting your time over. What if the property market fell further when interest rates go up?? It's a risky game and an investment which relies on property prices continuing to rise.. when wages are not.
