Anyone out there own a Samsung DVD-SR275M? (DVD Recorder)
My recorder switches itself on every morning at 8.05 am for about 1 minute then switches itself off again.
On my first contact with Samsung they told me to take the machine into a service centre for repair, the service centre told me that they returned the recorder to factory default setting and the fault is now fixed.
It still does this every morning and on contacting Samsung for the 2nd time they told me that its the machine searching for software updates. I asked why I wasn't told this when I 1st called Samsung, why did they send me to a service centre and why the service centre didn't tell me this is normal for this machine, and that they had repaired it, Samsung Telephone Help/Service Dept couldn't answer this!
I am wondering is it a fault with the machine as I dont know what to believe?
If anyone else has this DVD recorder can you tell me if your machine switches itself on and off every day?
Thanks
Jeff
