Please help-slight name change on easyjet flight.

Hi guys,
Can anyone offer some advice (perhaps on previous experience)?
A few hours ago I booked a flight for myself and a friend to Marrakech at the start of June for a short break.
After printing out the confirmation I checked it and noticed I had put my shortened name down in the passegers name. I have always been known as Abby and never use my name that is in my passport-Abigail. I've tried getting hold of Easyjet via their contact centre but obviously with all the cancellations due to the snow they have extremely long waiting times. I have just sent them an email regarding my problem.
Do you think they not allow me to board If I have Abby written on the boarding pass and Abigail written on my passport?
I've checked the price they charge for changing names and it is £25 each way!! Am I risking it by going to the airport without changing the name on the flight details?
Hopefully someone can offer me advice as I'm kicking myself with being so blooming stupid!!
Thanks in anticipation!

Do not risk it. Keep trying to call them and if you get through you might get someone who will accept it as a genuine mistake and correct it for free. Many people, including me, have had a slight mistake rectified free although you may get a jobsworth who goes by the book and insists on charging you. That would still be better than leaving it until the airport and being refused.0

Thanks for your response Fifeken. I've had no response yet to the email I sent so will try ringing again tomorrow.0
