I wish to move my addresses from Mozilla Thunderbird to Microsoft Outlook. Can anyone tell me how to do it please?
I am only doing this under duress as I am now using a Windows PDA and need to synchronise my emails between laptop and PDA. Otherwise I would stay with Thunderbird.
Many thanks
Phil

In Thunderbird, export the address book to a CSV or TAB file format (Tools menu - Export) and then in Outlook import the file (File menu - Import and Export).0

HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

This MS page -- http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;829985&spid=2520&sid=888 -- tells you how to install the translator (aka Exporters and Importers) via Add/Remove Programs. You'll need your Office CD.0
