Samsing NC10 spare keys

Anyone know where I can buy spare NC10 keys?

Bit of an incident yesterday means I am now missing the hash key, called samsung today and they want to charge me £50 for a full keyboard replacement, plus labour, or £50 for a full keyboard and £7.50 postage for me to do it myself. Explained I don't need a full keyboard, just one key, apparently they don't sell them, it's a full keyboard or nothing.

Looked on ebay, spotted someone selling keys, ordered one, got a refund yesterday, turns out they're not the UK layout keys, but the US ones, so key is different.

I can't seem to find anyone selling them when googling either.

Anyone know where I can get one from, like to avoid buying a whole new keyboard if I can.

I'm sure if you watch ebay for a while one will come up. How about this one?

Thanks, but that's the one I ordered, got a refund a few hours later, turns out its from a US keyboard, not the UK one. So the hash is on the 3 key.

Silly idea, but if it only one key broken, what difference what you replace it with ?

A fine point (with a bradawl etc) to scrape a new figure , and fill the the figure with tippex ...

    SORTED

That's what happened in the olden days - people made or repaired things !

Ebay is still your best bet. If you want a new keyboard, Digicare in the UK is Samsungs authorised repairer and will ship one out. Not cheap though - I've just paid £43 all in for a Samsung R519 keyboard.

It was digi care I spoke too, they wanted £49.99 for the keyboard plus £7.50 delivery.

I guess it's just the perfectionist in me.

I'll keep my eye on ebay. Thanks for the replies.
