Vent - Crazy Tiger DVDs

I ordered a DVD as a christmas present for my daughter from:
Crazy Tiger
on 15th November some 5 weeks before Christmas. It had failed to turn up by the middle of Christmas so I constantly emailed them to ask them where it was - they just kept sending me a mail to say they were awaiting stock - so I asked them if I could cancel the order - they said yes, email us back that you want to cancel the order - so I immediately emailed them back to cancel the order and then ordered it from Play.
Surprise surprise, 5 days after I cancelled it, they emailed me to say they have dispatched it! I emailed back to say I didn't want it as I had cancelled the order and ordered it with someone else.
I received the order from Play before the one from Crazy Tiger. I now have an extra DVD that I don't need.
All they email back with is that they have already sent it out and that if I sent it back to them they will knock off the postage costs (to Singapore) off my next order!!!!!! and once they have received it, they will credit my card.
What a palava - surely if I cancelled the order 5 days before dispatch I shouldn't have to go through this hassle?:mad:

To cancel your order, you must inform us in writing within seven working days from receipt of the goods. We will only accept goods which are returned to us in an unused, unopened, condition without the seals or wrapping being removed or broken. We will refund your money within 30 days of receipt of the goods or within 30 days of your cancellation, whichever is the earlier. A letter stating your name, your order number, email address and postal address should be attached to the returned goods. All returned goods should be forwarded to Customer Support at the freepost address below.
Looks like the person telling you to email to cancel, didn't know what they were talking about, or the order wasn't cancelled at their end properly.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

I know I can send it back within 7 days of receiving, but I don't know the regs regarding cancelling 5 days before dispatch - plus they are in Singapore! - It's a shame because I went on a recommendation from a friend! The dvd wasn't that expensive and I am not sure whether it is worth the hassle!
It's just the principle really. I have saved all my emails and printed them out - If I email them they just keep saying the same thing - send it back and the postage costs (about £5 to send to Singapore signed for) will be refunded off next order. I don't feel inclined to buy again!0
