Praise for Baby Gift Company

There seems to be lots of people complaining, so I thought I would praise an online baby gift company.

I urgently required a gift to be sent to my friend who gave birth the evening before I was due to go on hols. I ordered the gift through web site: its a baby thing and sent an email explaining I required it quickly, not only did the gift get delievered on time to my friend but I also received an email back from the company confirming dispatch that day - the gift arrived the day after my hols started.:j

It's unusual to receive a personal and efficient service nowadays - I shall certainly use them again if the need arises

As I work for an engineering company - a million miles away from anything to do with babies - NO.

What a sad world we live in nowadays that people only seem happy when other people are complaining!

I'm happy when other people are complaining?

No, most new people who jump straight in and praise a company have something to do with that company so are just spamming, and most are never to be seen again.

You only had to say No, you didn't have anything to do with the company ~ there was no need to be rude and ar$sey.

And now because some people will think you are a spammer (and a ride one at that), they will most probably never look at the site you are praising.

So as a newbie I am only able to complain? Surely this site is for all people not just serial moaners?

Or for people who have been on here a while to jump to conclusions about people? Surely thats rude?

I've already explained about assumptions made about new members who praise a company and it's the same on most forums ~ sorry if you're unhappy with that, but that's the way it goes!

Well maybe if you had have been patient (instead of jumping to conclusions) you would have seen that I also vented about another online company. Perhaps you will be more happy that as a newbie I am complaining!!!!

Now excuse me as I have better things to do than to argue with a complete stranger who mediates other peoples posts.

I'm a bit cynical as well , that web site only comes up on google as the web sites and on one other forum , and nowhere near the top 100 pages of searches for baby things

Funny that the OP's user name, comes up showing that they joined 2 other baby forums, the day before registering here. On one they are 'promoting' the same website as here.

Looks like I was right to be cynical from the off.

If the OP had come on here complaining I very much doubt that anyone would have gone to the bother of even checking the website let alone what other forums they had joined! Is this is a praise board or a detective agency? :rotfl:
