Thats so funny pounds. My husband is a plumber and the heating hasnt worked all winter and we havent had a working shower for over a year. Itll be interestingto see who moves first then. i think though, its def monday for us ready or not. want to see the world cup final so will be sitting in the midst of chaos no doubt.

    Hello treasure
Been wondering how you are :)

Moving is stressful, hopefully you can uncover some salable stuff for the car boot box or something, when you have time later - whenever that is!!

Sending a massive hug and it does seem like you need a nice one of these :coffee:
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I am so with you guys, my house is utter chaos! How much clutter can one family collect??? Fortunately I loathe football which is helping me get this place sorted, but OH is touring right now so no help there and the business won't run itself. My move date is 12th July which sounds a way off but not when I have 9 rooms to de-clutter and decorate!

And no, I haven't even thought about utilities, business telephone and mail etc. Internet access is vital to me, without it I can't quote, invoice or even pick up enquiries so I really need to make sure that is up and running on the move day. I need 3 of me right now.

My question... how come it all looks so easy when the house doctor does it? LOL.

Chin up though guys, I know come Monday you will somehow be ready, even if it feels like you don't stand a chance. Then when you are done, you can all come round and help me LOL

    Thanks folks,

I tried to cancel Telewest today and as its in OHs name they would not let me do it so I gave him the job. When I next spoke to him we're now having a Telewest package instead of a top set box, broadband instead of dial-up and they're coming to install in in the new house Saturday week. I'm kind of glad about the broadband as need the internet badly. DS is going into work with OH next week but I dont think hes really interested; I think he just wants money so he can buy a new hard drive for the computer as its packing up. Also solicitor didnt bother to send us a redemption statement and OH phoned her today and its like she wasnt going to bother to let us know how much it was if he hadnt phoned. What is worse I've got to go onto on-line banking to transfer the money out of the savings account into the current account so that I can get a bank transfer tomorrow and the awful, incredible thing is that I've forgotten the pin number. I log onto this account every single day and tonight I went to log on and my mind went completely blank. So today is the most vital day ever for me to get onto that account and log in and I cant. I put one guess in and it was wrong, darent do another in case they shut me down, then I really will be in the !?@. Feel like screaming. DS is playing the keyboard and its so irritating and loud and OH is searching for a computer cable and hes getting on my nerves as well. And I just cant remember the online banking number. Am supposing to be relaxing so i can remember it but am very tense because of everything.

    Poor you Tes,
just remember it will all be over soon.

It came to pass, not it came to stay ( someone said that to me in labour & it sort of helped, but not that much)

    Best Wishes

Yes, and the only way to get past something, is to go through it.

    Hey,

Good luck with the move- I know exactly what you mean - we've moved lots of time from rented to rented, but in August we're moving up north to a bought property and I'm already panicing!

Hope you remember your pin number - how annoying! I forgot it when I went on holiday as I was using someone's laptop and had got so used to typing it into the little number pad I didn't know the numbers, just the pattern!
