:( Venue worries.....

That's a shame I was getting really excited about this venue! Did you find a nicer one? I really want to be by the sea but not pay a high price!

Even tho I was advised to avoid this venue and although i am grateful for any advise given, i couldn't help not going for a look.
And... i really liked it! Its ideal for me and h2b as we wanted a marquee reception, and like the idea of being away from hotel guests. There was a wedding on also when we were there and everything looked very nice. Also spoke to some of the wedding guests staying at the hotel and they agreed some rooms were dated, but the ground floor rooms were great. There is also a great review on tripadvisor from the same couple who got married. Only down flaw is the civil ceremony room is in the restaurant and is not very special, but i have spoken to the Reverend at a local church and think we may be able to get married there.
To conclude for anyone considering this hotel, its best to have a look for yourself.
