  • It’s recommended that you purchase anything above 2500 mAh though I noticed that the AAA batteries on 7dayshop are only 1000. I guess it also depends what you’re using these for as well e.g. if you were using them in a clock you wouldn’t need high mAh.

    I bought 4 AA 2500 mAh Ni-Mh batteries and 4 AAA 1000 mAh Ni-Mh for my bike lights the last time I made a purchase on 7dayshop. They cost £3.99 per pack, though the brand they were selling at the time appears to be sold out. 7dayshop’s own batteries cost about £1 more.
  • I always buy energizer rechargeables from ebay they are a brand I know and trust and there are some good deals on there, they were free delivery when I bought mine too which cuts down costs as they are heavy!

    lots of AA batteries with C or D type converters and Duracell PP3 9V on offer in currys. Paid 97p for the 2xAA with C converter (2700mA)!
