Does anyone know who actually is Head of Customer Relations at nPower please?

The final in house stage of the nPower complaints procedure refers to a review by their Head of Customer Relations
http://www.npower.com/idc/groups/wcms_content/@wcms/@busi/documents/digitalassets/puttingthingsright100108.pdf

Googling shows up many posts in various forums where posters have received (electronically) signed correspondence from "Elizabeth Gibson" saying she is Head of Customer Relations at nPower.
e.g. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=20364535&postcount=1119
(there are lots more examples over the web)

However, according to the the following website, it states that the Head of Customer Relations at nPower is "Kath Crulley"
http://www.call-centre-europe.com/html/61news/news20.htm
and that Ms Gibson is merely the service delivery manager.

Can anyone shed any light on who actually is the Head of Customer Relations at nPower, and therefore responsible to finally review any complaint?

    :D

I wouldn't be surprised! I think we were were talking with his Mrs, Minnie, today.

"We have a resolution to your complaint ... it would be best if we could discuss my proposed resolution together...contact me as soon as possible on the phone number below..."

They are attempting to apply for an entry warrant to inspect a gas meter:
    a) The meter is on the outside wall in a typical meter cupboard, not restricted by any gate or anything.
    b) They don't, and never have, supplied gas to the property.

    Their resolution?
They still need to inspect the meter, and will apply to a magistrates court for an entry warrant if necessary
(and they seem reluctant to disclose which court so that the application can be defended)
Shame they never put any of this in writing. Hence, why I think it necessary to take the matter higher.

Having also had to fight Npower in a similarly lunatic case, you have my deepest sympathy.

I genuinely believe that this company should be forcibly wound-up. Either that or its board of directors individually prosecuted.

And that is on days when I am in a charitable mood. On others, I can think of more enjoyable solutions. Good luck with your struggle and, any MSEer reading this who is thinking of switching to Npower, bear it in mind. You are courting disaster.

  • Since I work in the market I have to be reserved in comments how ever for my own opinion I find Npower and Expensive in my area based on my consumption.

Most of the time on here you hear really bad stories about them on here but then again every energy company has its moment.

During the course of my referral of NPower to the regulator, I was told it receives more complaints about that company than any other.

Now that way not have been true and the situation may have changed, even if it was true at the time. But I will never forgive the company for the way it behaved and I do not believe anyone else who has suffered at NPower's hands should, either.

There is simply no excuse for such incompetence and companies should not be allowed to treat customers that badly and get away with it - especially not in a government regulated market.

There are plenty of shoddy companies in operation today and, of course, occasionally even the good ones get it wrong. But NPower's reputation on this board accords 100 per cent with my own experience of it. Seeing the procession of complaints here is all the evidence I need and I hope people take notice of it and act accordingly.
