How can we cure a damp loft?

Hi DH has insulated the loft this year. We have just gone up to put the Christmas decs away and there is quite a lot of condensation up there. It is dripping!!

What do we need to do to get this sorted?

TIA

mine was the same. i made sure there was a 6 inch gap all around the eves allowing ventilation.(originally i only left 2 or 3 inch.)
i also had 4 roof tile vents fitted, 2 on either side of the roof, cost £150 for tiles and labour.
this seems to have cured it - at a cost no doubt. i half wish i didnt put bloody extra insulation in.

p.s the damp/condensation was only on the north facing side.

Mmm I thought that DH had 'tucked it in' too well. He has now pulled back some of the rockwool from the edges, enough so that he can see daylight. It was beautifully dry up there before the extra insulation !

Naturally I would like it to be solved without any expense. Seems a bit daft...£12 worth of loft insulation and £150 worth of tile vents !

I have some Eaves Vents if anyone lives in Essex.

    Pm me.

Also make certain that your loft hatch is really well sealed Esp loft hatches outside the bathroom, Door draught excluder will help here.

and make sure that the bath/shower door is shut during and after a bath/shower.
