Annoying statements

IMHO MBNA statements are badly designed. You don't get the full statement on 1 page, half the transactions are on one side and the rest is on the other so you think you owe last than you do.

My question, can anyone recommend a credit card (I pay it off immediately) that sends you a decent statement with all transactions on the same side.

Thanks in advance

Know what you mean. They all seem to be going that way these days. They all focus on how much you have "available to spend" and contorted summaries with useful stuff buried.

I tend to manage my accounts online these days, so it doesn't bug me as much as it used to.

Until you turn over the page? Or is there still the summary box on the front page?

Depends entirely on the number of transactions whether it all fits on 1 page I'd say :)

But the post has made me smile, I've read lots of complaints about MBNA hiking interest rates after promotional periods, taking DD payments even though someone made a manual payment for the full amount (per their t&c's) and a host of others. I think this is the first I've read about their statement format.

Paper statement format isn't the best criteria for selecting a card IMO. Cashback %, 0% balance transfer period or 0% purchase period is a much more profitable way to decide which card to keep in your wallet.

Current recommendation to most people at the moment would be the Tesco Clubcard - it's not by MBNA so has a different format of statement (they use the RBS format), gives 0% interest on purchases for 12 months and earns you Tesco Clubcard Points on everything you spend - and their website is reasonably clear and concise to keep an eye on your balance inbetween statements.
