I don't have a recipe but what about rocky road bars - the ones with marshmallow, biscuit, chocolate etc.
Or cheesecake / chocolate torte / banoffi pie base?0 -
Hi BlimusOreilly,
There are links to recipes on this thread:
Broken Biscuits
I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.

i made fridge cake yesterday and it's delicious
melt together
300g chocolate (i used 2 milk & 1 dark bar of tesco value)
150g butter/margerine
100g syrup
then add in
a handful of raisins
250g crushed biscuit
marshmallows/ cherries/ dried fruit
also recomment orange zest if you've any oranges lying around
I doubt the quantities matter too much. I didn't measure any of mine!
line a baking tray with clingfilm & spread on top of it then leave in fridge a few hours0 -
My Mum used to make this cake for all my birthdays as a child... it's called a Broken Biscuit Chocolate Cake and is wonderfully rich
1 lb broken biscuits (I usually do half rich tea, half digestives)
8oz white sugar
8oz margarine or butter
4tbsp cocoa powder
2 eggs (beaten)
1. Melt the sugar, marg and cocoa over a very slow heat, stirring until completely melted together (in a very big pan).
2. Take off the heat and leave to cool for one minute.
3. Stir in the beaten eggs (they will cook in the heat of the liquid).
4. Stir in the broken biscuits (it might look at first as though there's not enough liquid but keep stirring, there's plenty! In fact, you can add more biscuits if you like)
5. Once all the biccies are covered, line a good receptacle (usually a roasting tin or pyrex dish) with foil.
6. Press the mixture into the tin and leave to set overnight in a cool place (or in the fridge if you need it done quicker but I recommend cooling slowly just left on the side).
I highly recommend this recipe as I have made and eaten dozens of them!

i had my second go in a while at hm cookies today (choc chip) and forgot they got alot bigger when you put them in the oven so i have cookies the size of dinner plates with not alot of chocolate in them, any idea what else i could use them for, they are ridiculous for just having with tea etc:j0

Try warming them gently in the oven and then topping them with ice cream and choc/toffee sauce. These make a great dessert.0

Hi rebeccaxoxo,
If they taste good I would break them into quarters and just eat as normal but if you want to use them to make something else then this thread has some good ideas:

Break them up into cookie-sized pieces, place them in a sealable tupperware-style box. Place the box, with a torch, under your bed .... set your alarm for midnight. Enjoy0

my grandkids love choc chip cookies crumbled up as a topping on ice cream! they are also lovely crumbed and used as a base for cheesecake. or layered with fresh fruit and cream.0
