im running vista on a toshiba L300d
it just seems to crash randomly and cant really explain more than that

Crash means what, turns off, reboots, blue screens, hangs? What comes on screen, what are you doing at the time?

Have you scanned for viruses? Is it used on a flat surface or bed etc?

Quick-n-dirty way to find out is boot it up in the garage or somewhere cold and see if the same symptoms persist.

i think the only thing i have installed is adaware as i was having trouble with AOL freezing and was advised to do this.

just turns off with shutting down properly and when i do try to rebbot i get the options to reboot normaly or in safe mode etc
