Crash means what, turns off, reboots, blue screens, hangs? What comes on screen, what are you doing at the time?
Have you scanned for viruses? Is it used on a flat surface or bed etc?!!

Quick-n-dirty way to find out is boot it up in the garage or somewhere cold and see if the same symptoms persist.

i think the only thing i have installed is adaware as i was having trouble with AOL freezing and was advised to do this.mmmm free stufffffffff
