the last one didn't, it was sent direct to us, my credit file states it's satisfied in barclays eyes, so why would it?0 -

yes it is still owing and it's still being paid, but on my credit file it says it was defaulted then satisfied so in barclays eyes i have no debt with them anymore. Hence why the previous cheque came direct to us.
where it goes is by the by anyway, can you go after the rest of a partially settled hardship claim, no mention of it being full and final settlement, and nothing signed accepting it as such0 -

On what basis would you take the claim forward to the FOS(cos I read your CAG thread)?0 -

because it wasn't settled in full? i don't know thats why im asking all these questions
what would be the angle to take the claim forward, as the first bit was done by the firm i'm new to this,
not taking into account any interest on the charges there is still a shortfall of £1.5k approx thats all i've got to go on at the minute, they've accepted we're in financial hardship paid part of it as goodwill, the rest was pending the outcome of the case, they've now said because of the case they won't deal with it anymore, but it's not covered by the case as they have admitted in writing that it was a hardship claim
i suppose that the only angle i've got unless anyone else has any ideas, like i said on cag the chap at the fos said see how you get on if you're not happy with the outcome get in touch
if you looked at the cag thread was the letter any good?0
