argos price glitch

    I have also reserved only the bracelet at £3.99 as the earing not in stock I just want to check does anyone know if you have to get jewellery from the jewellery counter would this stop you using the quick machines
  • every time I have had an argos glitch, the self service tills come up with proper price not the glitch one, so you have to use the tills....

    I did the baby bedding glitch deal last weekend - unless you reserve both items even the automated till will charge you full price. As long as they are both in stock pay by card at the quick till thing and it should be ok - especially if you collect at a busy time when staff are less likely to notice what a bargain you've just picked up..!

    have foned headoffice before i venture out to argos, they have told me "it is a mistake" and will not be honoured, this is twice now i have experienced this sort of thing at argos, think it needs looking into. :mad:

    Probably best not to alert head office to the glitch as I have just tried to checkout and the price is showing the normal price not the glitch price!!!

    i was not going all the way to town in the snow to be told i couldnt have it, and its not a glitch its " an offer", theres no need to be so rude :eek:

    If it was an offer then you wouldn't be in a thread for glitches, would you? Fact is, by phoning up and alerting Head Office to the mistake, you may have prevented others from taking advantage.

    if you read back thru your thread you will see others have already alerted headoffice thru the stores and some one has quoted it was not a glinch but an offer
