i have a creative audigy2 platinum ex and it is doing my head in
ok here goes:
while i was listening to music the volume went all quiet on mp3's and midi tunes came out loud. i have to open nero and go into wave editor and turn the volume up but when i close wave editor it goes quiet again. even thogh it says the volume is at full volume in the windows vol control
this has done it yesterday as well
do i need to reinstall the drivers?
btw im running on an nforce 2 chipset

Maybe you should check the little speaker in the notification area (where the clock is) and make sure it's configured there correctly.
Right click it and open volume controls and make sure the sliders for each sound is at right level.0
