Not sale stuff, but check Primark for cards, wrapping paper, gift bags and tissue paper. I picked up two packs of assorted, patterned mini cards (great for thank yous and such) in vintage and kitsch styles - 8 for £1. I also got loads of patterned tissue paper for £1 and I'll go back there for gift bags. I have a few rolls of their wrapping paper too, again for £1 per roll! Can't beat it!

This is true! Do what I do and don't let them put everything in one single bag (the male SAs are the worst for this, gah)! I always ask them to put less in their bags as they split so easily - also it is very hard to carry one heavy bag in one hand and nothing in the other, very bad for one's posture. :D HTH.

Some of the SA's have no idea! I saw someone in the high street the other week and her bag split and deposited the contents all over the pavement.. I was lucky in the snow as the female older SA put one bag inside the other to give it a bit more strength. (I've had to almost argue in some food shops to get things in 2 equal bags rather than 1 heavy bag, I think they assume everyone goes everywhere in a car).

Plenty of thermals in stock in Primark today if anyone needs any :D
  • :rotfl: how? I've been walking fine!
