I saw one the other day, a poster had a small debt and had the money in his bank and was asking if he should pay it nowor wait till month end and get the £2.00 interest from his savings account.... That naffed me off a bit.... May be just a bit jelous that im not in that boat !

Not being funny mikey but if my post really annoyed you then you should get out more often!

I dont suppose youve actually read any of my other posts where id helped lots of other people, or described the 8 months of at times, hell, where ive scrimped every penny and gone without things that i loved to clear my debt.

Fair enough it was two pounds, and yes to some people that may not be much, but i wanted peoples opinions on whether it was worth myself being disciplined enough to keep the money in the bank that little bit longer, or treating myself to clearing a debt which i feel, i have worked hard to clear.

Im going away to take some deep breath's now ;)

Seriously though people stop being so judgemental, the poor guy who thought he was helping got some unnecesary abuse, even if we had heard it before, sometimes its nice to be reminded its the little things we do, that wehn we add them up become a big deal

first of all you don't have to apologise because the question was valid. some (though not all) find when they change their attitude towards money they get out of debt and start saving. some (though not all) say it's only £2, it's only £5 but fail to understand all these pounds add up. say you spent £2 per lunch for per day for an average of 4 weeks that's £40 per month. you start paying off £40 of debts each month and you'll soon knock a hole in it. £2 would pay for all my breakfasts for a week. don't be afraid (and never stop) posting questions like the one you did. there's nothing offensive in it; it wasn't aimed at anyone but was just raising an issue.
