Post Ofice Phone & Broadband Contact Numbers

It's a long shot but does anyone have a phone number or a name of a proper person to complain to?

Basically, my mum moved into new place (new to her) before Christmas. Phone was supposed to switched on from 21st December and it's still not working. She has tried to call them on her mobile, but as the waiting time is so long, it gets rather expensive. I emailed them asking them to call her on Sunday and she has heard nothing from that. I rang their sales line today and waited 25 mins to get answered. When I asked them to call her, because I know they can't deal with my because of Data Protection (fair enough), they told me they couldn't because they are incoming calls only. When I asked how she was supposed to contact them, they said she could call! I then called their technical faults line who said they would call, and they haven't
.
I'm a bit peeved. My Mum is 71, not that mobile and can't afford to spend loads on mobile phone calls. I think the level of service is appalling so would like to get hold of someone to actually get things sorted for her. Shouldn't be so difficult should it?
So, anyone had any dealings with them and any useful advice?

Thanks.

call the post office helpline on 08457223344, they won't be able to help immediately but a manager will be able to email them for you.
  • Thanks Karen. Having spoken to a couple of departments and having already sent an email with no response, I think it;s time to bang in a complaint so I'm going to the top.
