I'm quite local too, eyes peeled and ears to the ground.
Thoughts are with the owner, good on you for helping them.

  • we have rescued chihuahuas and we know many more need rehoming so why do these brainless parasites need to steal family pets. Really hope and pray you get them back safe and unharmed. Margaret:confused:

My goodness, how heartbreaking. I'm so sorry! I will keep an eye out on Preloved, Gumtree etc. I really hope you find them safe and well! I took my auntie's dog to town a couple of weeks ago and tied him up outside a shop, just to look at something right near the entrance, turned around a few minutes later - !!!!!!, gone. That feeling is horrendous; you must feel so helpless despite doing so much to find them. Luckily my auntie's dog had been taken by a trio of ten-year old girls who thought he'd been abandoned, not dog-thieves, and he was found half an hour later - but that half an hour was one of the worst of my life, so I really feel for you. Best of luck finding those beautiful dogs! x

    Have you posted on DogLost?

By the way, everyone can register on dog lost and when a dog is lost in a certain radius of your home post code they will contact you with details and usually a poster to print off to stick up in your local area.
