Hope I am not breaking any site convention with this post - - if I do, pls just delete it and slap my wrist! Thought I would offer this to a trusted MSEer in preference to hiring someone on the web.
I need (asap) the support of a programmer who is "fluent" in PHP5, MySql, Regular Expressions, CURL, Saxon. The main job is to troubleshoot an existing application (thorough introduction/training will be will be provided), and there might be the need for enhancements in the future.
The application is well behaved and there is generally not much to fix. The current support person (who is retiring due to a new baby) spends no more than 10 hours per month on it. The retainer fee for the support is a fixed £200 per month, paid by bank transfer. As and if any enhancements will be needed, those will be discussed, spec'd and priced separately. Further details will be available once an NDA has been signed.
All communication will be via email, phone/skype, chatroom, remote login etc so location is not important. However, the successful applicant will need to provide their full name and address details, and provide proof of address.
Anyone who thinks they might have the right skills and would be interested, please drop me a PM with your CV, and any References you may have by no later than January 15 2010. I'll get back to you with a yes/no within a day of receiving your CV.
