Ticking the box..............

hi there
does it matter when claiming for PPI that I had ticked the box on the application form for the CC's I had?? It was also shown on every statement I received, apparently!!, not that i ever get into the habit of looking at my statements, stupid I know.

will the above go against me as Im being put off by the clydesdale thieving bank. My claim is with FOS and they are dealing with it as we speak but im concerned that they will come back with the same outcome - e.g. i ticked the box, tough!

mb

    hope your well.;)

And no it will not go against you, they do try to say because you ticked the box you was aware etc etc but do not let that worry you, the FOS are used to seeing this.

    thanks di!

happy new year and yes im well, sick of the snow tho got loads up here in scotland.

I wondered if that would be the case, but clydesdale bank put on the usual tone of - well you ticked it, so its your fault! - i cant even remember completing the app form.

Oh well, will jsut have to wait for FOS - they seem so busy just now every claim taking ages

    thanks again
