Where to Save Small Lump Sum for Child!

My DD has been given a small lump sum of £1.5k from a relative who has recenltly passed away.

Their wish is for me to open an account or trust for her where she receives the money when she is older.

The reason is not really to invest the money though a good return would obv be great. The realative is just looking for a way to give her the money when she is older as a gift for her to remember them by.

I don't intent adding anything to the account as we already pay monthly into a CTF for her.

Any advice would be appreciated.
