£30 M&S Trousers

Hi,

As the title says it, how long should a pair of £30 trousers be expcted to last?

I purchased some Travel trousers and they had to be returned because they started to split at the front just below the zipper, that was after a month, now they have started to split again. I have had them since Aug.

So would they be expected to last longer than this?

  • I don't really know what you mean by travel trousers but I would expect a pair of £30 trousers (if worn regularly) to last over a year, but that's my personal opinion. It depends on how much wear they'll get, how often they are washed etc etc but it sounds to me like they aren't well made.
  • They should definitely last at least a year. I wouldn't expect them to split or have problems like that for about 2, if at all.

  • Thanks, i will go to marks and try and get a refund!

Looking at the marks site, the travel trousers seem to have been taken down, so there may be a fault with the whole batch!

Is it the seam that has split, or has the actual material the trousers are made of split?

  • Well i went to Marks and no luck. The rude manager just said i will send them off to the technicians,, because of the bobbeling on the legs which is not even the fault and she just ignored what i was saying.

Just fired off a very strongly worded email to M&S!
