Why not start a new thread about it. Make sure you detail everything about misleading the public, lying to the public, their arrogance, and their contempt of those who elected them into office, and anything else that deserves to be public knowledge.

that also makes a lot of sense! i think actually out of all the ministers in stormount, peter is the best of a bad bunch, but its not good that it is overshadowing the very unscrupulous matter of the Adams' brothers goings on...

So what do you know Drew, what are you alledging/accusing G Adams of?

Do share, cos throwing stones is fun!

BT speculates this morning that it's likely any possible prosecution would not go ahead because of her mental state. Justice is unlikely therefore!
just found this wee story . A man shoplifted from Ikea in 12 different occasions .He was spared immediate imprisonment after the court heard of his psychiatric difficulties. CCTV cameras captured the defendant by-passing checkouts and wheeling trolleys loaded with furniture out of the store. Prosecutors said the total value of goods stolen was £6,350.

Thing is this one went to court ,As for Iris and her problems ? well that's another mater .

I agree - that will never happen. But thanks to good journalists like Suzanne Breen of the Sunday Tribune who has exposed Adam's propoganda about how he "dealt with" his brother as lies and McIntyre who researched the Spotlight programme exposing the Robinson's dirty dealings we know an awful lot more than the politicians would like us to. Thank Goodness!!!

I hadn't seen that. Critically though a prosecution was taken in this case though but consideration given when sentencing to the man's mental state. He still has a conviction for theft.

I think papers were suggesting today that the DPP wouldn't even consider a prosecution in the light of Iris's illness. Double standards?

it is a bit worrying though that both gerry and his brother havent been investigated a bit more thoroughly than they have already. i understand him defending his brother, as you would expect from any half decent human being, but at the same time, if it turns out he was in the wrong by knowing about all the abuse that his father and brother were involved in, and while his brother was in sinn fein and working in the west belfast community, then he will be in big trouble!!

i find it quite strange that the garda werent allowed to arrest him when he handed himself in, but then maybe that is a failing by the psni for their incorrectly issued arrest warrent. just shows how well they are coping under mr baggott...
