payment prtection

Hi there, if this is answered elsewhere then please direct me...

What i want to know is i am currently paying about £14 per month for payment protection on my credit card. If i did not have payment protection would the credit card company still pay me back if there was a problem with my card being copied or if a purchase fell through. it is a natwest card. Recently my card was abused online and they paid it back straight away. Would they have had to do this anyway without the protection.

thanks

Alan

( iam trying to work out if it is a swiz because they would pay me back anyway.)

Comments

  • Payment protection pays out on unemployment and medical claims (in the main).
It has no relevance to any fraudulent transaction which might happen on your account.
