Vanquis purchase in dollars

Sounds stupid but want to make sure!!

Am about to book the Hard Rock Hotel in Florida and pay the deposit on my Vanquis card, obviously the payment will be in dollars, will Vanquis make some silly charge for this or will it just go through as a 'normal' credit card purchase?

Want to make sure there's no fee or 'immediate' interest on it as I pay my balance in full each month and don't want to start paying charges.

from the terms and conditions:

We will charge a fee of 2.99% of the amount of any non-sterling transaction made abroad (‘Foreign Transaction fee’). The exchange rate on which this fee will be calculated will be the exchange rate on the date the transaction is processed and may be different from the date of the actual transaction.

Cheers - I can cope with that. Just wanted to make sure that they had no sneaky way to say that foreign purchases had no interest free period.
