Is HPI To Blame?

I am sure before the current madness it would have been quite reasonable for me to clear the pavement of snow. Now I am unsure of doing it, in case someone trips over and sues me. I can only put this down to HPI, and the fact that people need every get rich quick scheme available to get on the housing ladder. Well not on my watch matey. The shovel stays in the garage until the UK recovers some sanity.

.Is HPI To Blame?
Well, you lot blame it for every other conceivable problem in society, so why make an exception this time?:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
-- President John F. Kennedy”0 -
I blame the immigrants."I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0

I put cold water out in the evening, and film people slipping over the next day.
MSE tip: send footage to TV and you're quids in. It be helping me save a house deposit.
I'm hoping to cash in on my kids falling over. How many lots of £250 we have sitting on old family vids/DVDs I have no idea.
There's a rainy day idea.
Fancy we could buy a house let alone pay for a deposit with the number of clips we have of "children doing the silliest things".

You shoudl definately celar your pavement Mr.Brown, while you might get sued in this political-correctness-gone-mad society, I have been realibly informed by the Daily Mail that snowy pavements outside your house causes cancer0

I am fairly sure these accident claim companies were around pre 2001 (Pre big HPI and were in America before they ever had a housing boom ever).
So no, it is the companies, law firms etc who are exploiting the system to make themselves better off by making people feel they have a right to clim.
Funny enough I thought about this today. I put it down to insurance, people now think that insurance takes away the need to be careful because they can usually claim.
Examples and = How some think
Driving like a nutter in this weather = I can claim on the insurance if i wreck the car and if I die my family get life insurance (yes I have heard that as some people reasons to being wreckless)
Not being careful walking = place I fall overs fault they have insurance.
etc etc.
So I think the main cause is insurance and how it is exploited as in some it has taken out the need to be careful. The other way people look at it is if they have insurance they must be at fault otherwise why insure against it.
So basically it is not HPI it is insurance and law companies exploiting it. Law companies now make people believe there is always some one to blame, there are no accidents (or clumsiness) according to law firms just oppertunitys.0
