Once again thank you Malc.
Ive realised two things;
1.) My heating comes on sometimes yet it is turned off at the control panel? So now the boiler is turned off when not in use ie hot water, heating. As this could add up over time the wasted gas.
2.) I have no idea where my electric meter is. So have sent email to landlord asking where it is to get on extact reading. I mean the meter folk must know as I have had bills?
At least getting proactive on the subject

Well done on becoming proactive, Fluffy.
Give us a call if your landlord doesn't come back to you about the location of the meter. We will be able to help.
Keeping a regular check on meter readings is one of the best ways to keep control of your usage. You'll be surprised how quickly you notice the difference when things change.
Best of luck.

Ok so few things new.
1.) I have started to Ebay some bits and bobs. I intend to list at least 5 items a week. First item has sold today and im really happy with result! only selling small bits and bobs like excess stock like shoe laces and socks (all new) that have been lying arround in shop or bits arround the house like some old sports equipment that I no longer use. All the extra income can go to paying off more of my debt or keeping head above water in the summer where business tends to slow up at the time most folk up sticks and head to sunny shores. Im also only listing things that I can start at 99p as this is the top Free listing price. 99p (well 90p once sellers final fee off lol) is better in my pocket than lying on a shelf.
2.) Eco downturn has taken some victims in my line of work. Have found out today that two of the shops competitors are closing in the next month. To be honest both competiors were many part time/internet/from home based and both have Main jobs which their income was supplimented by their shops but it maybe shows the lack of custom. Plus the huge shops/chains are able to undercut. Im preparing for the rough times. If it goes better and I pick up some trade, then its good but rather batten than think it all gonna be great.Loan1 [STRIKE]£11854.3[/STRIKE] £11420.62 CCard [STRIKE]£5770.52[/STRIKE] £5546.03 Loan2 £4383.90 LoanUncle £1500 LoanMum £1000 LoanDad £630 Supplier2 [STRIKE]£524.35[/STRIKE] £224.35 Supplier1 [STRIKE]£1092.7[/STRIKE] £700 Rent Arrers [STRIKE]£1775[/STRIKE] £1675

Im down.
Ive pulled out of grocery challenge as 8 days in between me and OH blown half budget. Feel better pulling out then getting sorted than to fail and feel worse about it.
I feel like im failing. Home life is terrible at the moment. OH admited laast week he has been stashing away his petrol money he gets for doing sports coaching and wants to use it to buy a folding bike. We in total owe people over 25k and he wants to buy a folding bike!!! He owns a bike!! And two motor bikes!! and a car!!! I own a folding micro scooter
just feel no matter what i do to try and save hes there at other end spending away. even the start of my ebay profits hes spent!
I mean I had a change jar to save up for odd bit clothes and things and i have spent some of it on items in sales i needed like underwear. He knows about the jar and knew what i was buying. He also knows that last week i used what was in the jar to pay towards supplier debt as they were getting impatient and wanted a contribution to the debt. I have also take a short term loan from my mum of £700 to help buy stock and he has got one from his dad again of £400 to buy out one of the shops closing as the have £1000 worth of stock they wish to clear. He needs new brakes on his car as they are now dangerous BUT HE WANTS TO BUY A FOLDING BIKE??????????
Am I wrong to feel angery about this??
Ok some postitive....
Went round his mums other day, was given 2 duck and 6 hen eggs fresh from the birds of one of her neighbours. That has sorted lunch and breakfast for few days.
Starting to use up odds and ends of body lotions ect in house, shampoo, hair stuff.
Got my broken front tooth fixed!! And instead of costing £45 lovely dentist only charged me £16
I do have to get a crown done in next 6 month costing £200 but at least it sorted in the mean time. Dentist knows I am skint and cant get the credit on the treatment so helped me out by sorting the fee. She even said at least put money saved to side so your closer to having the crown paid for.
Cooking from the cupboards/fridge and freezer. Using up!! Its mental! the freezer is almost full of stuff and half is like things I got on special or reduced. To be honest I now freeze what I dont finish from take away food if can so it not wasted. I use to have for breaky but think more enjoyed at night when should do lol!
I now have payment cards for Water, Elc/Gas and CT. I have a grip on computer to say how much I should be putting away for things or paying. I is helping as forgeting less and also smaller lumps bit by bit easier than one huge lump.Loan1 [STRIKE]£11854.3[/STRIKE] £11420.62 CCard [STRIKE]£5770.52[/STRIKE] £5546.03 Loan2 £4383.90 LoanUncle £1500 LoanMum £1000 LoanDad £630 Supplier2 [STRIKE]£524.35[/STRIKE] £224.35 Supplier1 [STRIKE]£1092.7[/STRIKE] £700 Rent Arrers [STRIKE]£1775[/STRIKE] £1675
