Scenic immobiliser with 8 digit code....

Been to get immobiliser code for my Renault scenic today and they got all details off the v5 and gave me a 8 digit code for the immobiliser. l've read about 4 digit immobiliser codes for scenics but not a 8 digit code so anyone know how l get to disarm the immobiliser with a 8 digit code.. l have a Renault Scenic 1.6 Sreg 1999..Help and answer please

Would have thought that whoever supplied the code whould be able to tell you.

I didnt realse any senics came with a coded immobiliser just the one on the key but I'am not sayign they havent. Why not just give a dealership with a garge a quick phone call.

Its a security code also known as the (pincode) to get into the Cars ECU and is of no use to you unless you have a diagnostic or key programming equipment. search the net for renault immobiliser bypass. you can send your immobiliser box off and have it bypassed. just a case of fining someone close by as possible.
