HI MSE
I have just got a pocket MP3 player, i have downloaded a load of Mp3 files to it. It is 512mb is there any way i can download more on to it?. i have heard of WAV files but do not know anything about them, or is there any software to download that will do?

mp3 is pretty small so you should be able to hold a lot on it. if not try .wma which can be done from cds using windows media player. there is also a few convertors going around which you can use to change mp3 to .wmaSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

As a rough guide each meg is worth about one minutes listening time i.e. 512 should give you about 512 minutes (about 7 cds worth). Windows claim that WMA files are smaller than MP3s, and they can be produced using Windows Media Player. In my experience if you are using the 128 bitrate MP3s there is little difference in size or quality between the two formats. WMAs may be marginally better at lower bitrates, but you would need to see if the quality on playback was acceptable to you, and if so you could double your capacity by using 64 bitrate.0
