Please help - Can't access secure websites

Hi, hope some one can help.
I canm't acces secure websites.
For instnce I can access Ebay but not the page where I sign in.
I can't check my gmail nor can I acces my bank's homepage.
I have tried AOL's techincal help - it's crap. I have done everything but mothings changed.
can someone help please!!:o

I do have Norton's but it's out of date.

Cannot access or log on to secure Web sites with Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall

I would suggest that as it is out of date you remove Norton's completely by using ADD/RREMOVE programs or by using this tool

and use this Anti virus
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5#avg-free
and install a firewall such as Kerio
http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Kerio-Download.cfm
which are both free and should cure this problem.
